What gap should I use for my new spark plugs?

I got me a box of NGK 6510 Iridium spark plugs and I’m wondering what gap I should set these bad boys on.

I’m looking for optimal performance while keeping me at a good gas mileage. I do a lot of city driving so my current average is 18.7 MPG.

What do you guys say?

I have the 6510s and I gapped them at 0.022" and they're working out great.

I was under the impression that OEM was 0.035. Can you / should you use another gap?

If they have the paper guard on the tip in the box, then they are pregapped and dont need to be touched.

Is there a reason to get a different gap other than the OEM 0.035?

If you have not increased the boost, dont change the gap. Normally you would run a smaller gap if your running more boost to prevent blow out.

Thank you, that's what I thought. I have the OEM ACdelco plugs coming in the mail today and all of a sudden everyone on this forum was saying to get 0.0028 or such instead of 0.035
