Yea I started with an AEM kit then upgraded everything to run 100% meth. I like meth all year around. Will always help

So I FINALLY made it to the track (had alot going on). Wasn't the best outing but there was improvement. I removed the nitrous kit from the car as I wont be using it anymore (for sale). Here are all the passes:



1st pass: No adjustments. Straight from the dyno to the track

2nd pass: Richened it up and raised shift points (went too far) smh

3rd pass: Lowered shift points a little, left fuel alone. (ended up being super rich. 11.0 in 5th and 6th)
4th pass: Forgot what i did here but it didnt work

5th pass: Transmission didn't shift to 4th.

6th pass: Figured out how to give it more on the leave. It spun

7th pass: Left it alone. No good 60ft

Then I noticed something. After the third pass my 60fts weren't there.





Tires are completely SHOT! Never really looked at them. If I had fresh tires there would have been a .6x somewhere in there.

I ordered a 15" conversion 2 weeks ago. Wheels should be here in another 2-4 weeks. I might just buy another set of 17" tires and give it another try.

Also there will be big changes coming in a few months. 2650+CR Fueler.

Ya just slid by me with the .79 to my .83, congrats and got me by a little over 1 mph. I know your pushing hard and maybe we will get that 2650 on your Z sometime in the future. Then hold on. I still think you can run a tenth quicker then you did, maybe low 9.60s on the right day. You really needed that 1.40 60ft I had to get you in the lows 70s.

Definitely need better 60s. If it was earlier in the year i would already have a new set of tires ready to take advantage of the weather. Nothing but heat and humidity for the next few months. Maybe i'll go back when the 15s come.

Yep, did you switch to E or are you running Vp race fuel? If E what low side fuel system are you running?

I see the inside of the tire might be waring a little more then the outside. We set mine up with just a little positive camber, that way when the car squats the tire is straight up and down so the tire patch is flat. It was harder to tell on my Slicks so I noticed it in a still picture that we were running to much negative camber.

Yea I took out all the camber I could with the stock arms. Still .8 negative. I bought BMR arms but non adjustable. Not installed yet. Those will be for sale lol. My 15” conversion didn’t come with arms because I didn’t like how small the heim joints were. BMR stuff is beefier. I have the bmr adjustable toe rods and will now get the other arms adjustable as well to really get the suspension perfect.

How do you think the motor will hold up with all the meth? I’m new to most of it. My car came with meth on it and the ring lands were gone. Had to replace the pistons. Tuner says it was because of how much meth was being sprayed.

That’s absolutely false. Your ring lands were gone because the tune was no good. Methanol is just another type of fuel. I have never heard of a motor failing because of the use of methanol.
