A friend of mine just put 22 inch replica Camaro wheels on his black 2SS 6 Gen.

You can see his car on YouTube here

I think 22 looks way too big for the car. Looks like a cartoon or a toy car

Bigger wheels is not for everyone, some people think the car looks like a concept car at the auto show. And some think to much rubber looks truck-ish. But everyone should make their cars the way they want them and that's the fun of it all.

Thanks for your comment

I know it's not for everyone, and I don't like it on every vehicle...but the replica wheels look good on the Camaro...

I know what you mean. I like the 6 Gen just as it looks from the factory, I didn't want to change the appearance, I just wanted a lower profile tire. I just got lucky to fine a bigger wheel that looks just like the camaro wheel from chevy. (what was the chances of that?) haha.

Most people dont even notice the wheels are bigger until they look close or I tell them.

Your ZL1 looks amazing! and thanks for the comment.

Yeah, if you don't know what you're looking for/at, most people won't notice. The wheels look great as they sit, so enjoy it! Thanks for the compliments!

I agree the 22s leave enough rubber to deal with potholes and bumps

Gross. I’m sure it rides like ass with those rubber bands for tires. Honestly, I think the stock 20s are too big and the car should have come with 19s and a slightly taller sidewall. It needs it for traction.
