Just got word from my dealer that my original order was accepted. I confirmed it on the Chevrolet site and it's 2000.

Of course, this isn't on my original order that I placed back in mid-November - that dealer never received any allocations (and still hasn't, at least when I talked to them on Saturday to cancel that first order).

I ordered my 1SS 1LE 6 speed on 31 Jan and on 14 Apr my dealer salesman phoned and said my build date will be 15 May, Yay!

And, as much as I'd love to speculate, there are a lot of variables involved from transit to any holidays and parts availability so your time will fluctuate. The good news is that you're finally past that initial stage, which in my case seemed like it took longer than it did. I'd say that once it was accepted, I noticed status changes happening maybe weekly to bi-weekly. The other stage that might hang it up is if it's waiting for special hood wrapping or appearance packages, that and transit from the plant. I'd say, generally speaking having GM accept the order is one of the biggest hurdles. Congrats on getting past that stage.
