Got 2022 cancelled. Had to order 2023

Hi guys, got my 2022 2LT White Summit 2.0L Camaro cancelled as it was still in #1100 since March 15th. Got the 2023 ordered this week, dealer told me that they got an allocation, so this time it should go through a bit faster, hope so.

My only concern is that I heard that they are letting go 4 cylinders Turbo and will put V6 as base engine (www.musclecarsandtrucks.com). Is there anybody who heard about that rumor? Anyone closed to GM who might have an answer ? The order for a 2023 2.0L Turbo went through at dealership but hoping it will not be refused by GM (#2000)

is there any information on the new wheels as of yet, I want to see what they look like, please? I just want to see some pictures, frankly

(What I'm referring is to RPO codes - Q7G [20 in. wheels all around] and 56Z [for SS {20" x 8.5" for the front} and {20" x 9.5" for the rear}]

GM Authority has a picture of 56Z (https://gmauthority.com/blog/2020/09...ions-detailed/) and I also saw an ad for a 2.0T 1LE that looks similar:

no bro its not the one I'm looking for, they are new wheel designs for the 2023 model year of Camaro not 2021, also keep in mind that GM reuses RPO codes

Mid-life Camarisis is right. THAT is the "new" black forged wheel for 2023. They would not reuse an RPO code for a wheel that was used on the current generation unless it was the same wheel. Q7G is the same wheel, it's just not the staggered sizes that SS will get.

I think this is our first glimpse of Sharkskin. This is a partially camo'd 2023 Silverado ZR2 which is also getting GXD(called Sterling Gray Metallic on Silverado). I saw this on a ZR2 video and I'm pretty sure this is the new color as it doesn't match any other color currently or previously available on T1 Silverados.

Assuming this is a serious question () the answer is: That was all wrong information.

you and Mid-life Camarisis are right, but we will wait and see what the new wheels look like, i going to wait for the pricing and the build & price feature on chevy.com and i would ask joeP (but he is out for now as of 5/13/22) i mean I'm not going to go to the dealer and ask them to give me a car and not knowing what I'm going into and get in trouble

The biggest question is - are you actually going to buy the car this time, or order it and walk away from it yet again?
