"Shock and Steel" special edition package, not the Shock color

The colors they're showing there are Wild Cherry and Silver Ice. Not the new colors.

No changes to engine RPO codes. No idea if the ZL1 is getting the Blackwing version of the LT4 yet though.

Not likely.

So they replaced metallic gray and dark red with… metallic gray and dark red.

Thanks for the info Gearhead, but man i will never understand what goes through their heads at the studio.

Ahh bummer. Still no Elkhart Lake Blue like the corvettes. Was hoping to see that and a new color.

Thanks for the info, GearheadSS. Since the new colors are basically just variations of what they took away, I'll probably be sticking with Riverside Blue once I have to reorder a 2023 model, although I've been warming up to both Rapid Blue and Vivid Orange.

Happy to hear they haven't taken away the PDR option either, although I wonder if it will still be heavily constrained?

I just ordered last Friday for a 2022 Model. Dealer told me about 4-6 weeks out? I ordered Orange. If no major changes except cost I guess I am happy.

If anyone wanted to see a preview to the new Radiant Red, it was released as a color for the MY23 Blazer as well. It is on the Chevy website. https://www.chevrolet.com/upcoming-vehicles/2023-blazer You can kind of get an idea of what it looks like. It looks to be pretty similar to the Wild Cherry. Though I guess this is labeled as "Radiant Red Tintcoat" and not "Radiant Red METALLIC Tintcoat".

Interesting link.
I wonder if that 10.2 inch touchscreen shown will appear in the 2023 Camaro ??? Some ads for the Blazer suggest similarities to the Camaro (including the dash).

I certainly wouldn't hold my breath on this happening... As an example, the PDR got upgraded on the Corvette for C8, but that never made it to the Camaro...

Best,

Geoff

So the April 28th ordering date has been set but the 2023 configurator is not up yet. Is that the normal progression for it to lag behind the order date? I know there are not many changes but the new Sharkskin color is new and I personally would like to see it.

I don't expect to see the online builder go live until after production begins. We don't even pricing yet so they definitely won't have the builder online until after that. If I had to guess, July at the earliest.
