To the OP, nice ride. Which tail lights do you have? They look great with the Nightfall Gray.

I guess I'm the odd one out. All I see is a spoiler bolted to a spoiler.

Glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t like it , to each their own and the beauty of owning the car is that you can do whatever looks good to you.
To me it seems like an afterthought piece after all the performance they got out of the 1le from great parts (mrc, brakes, wheel/tire combo, seats, elsd )

Like or not, great that Chevy offers an actual aero part - Gurney flap that provides significant down-force (relatively) without much increase in drag.

I might buy one just to have...wonder how much it would reduce top-speed.

Thanks for the pic, is this an OEM one? or one of the ZL1addons site?

I also noticed this is an allen type bolt...

As far as what it does to the balance with added downforce without more front splitter to offset, I'm going to do some experimenting.

The ride height sensors have a voltage range when key on of 0.25 to 4.75V, the higher the lower the ride height. One of these days, I'll make a run on smooth road at a given (high) speed and get readings from the front and rear with and without the wickerbill on. I can see what it does to the ride height trims at speed. You could do the same with another car with a different wickerbill / splitter set up to compare.

I'll also take some readings at full jounce and rebound to get the ride height to voltages for each corner. May take a while to do this due to my work and home schedule, but, it will be good to know. Any of that will be skewed by current vehicle weight (fuel load, junk in the trunk, etc.).
Did you ever do testing on this?
