Dragstrip Prep

After the break-in on my car, is there anything I need to do before taking it to the dragstrip? Is it necessary to change the brake fluid to DOT-4 for the strip? Is it necessary to put on the larger deflectors for the brakes?

SA/SNELL 2010+ Helmet & State Inspection Passable Car is generally all you need until you add serious go-fast parts. At that point it's more safety equipment rules then things like brake fluid and such.

Is it necessary to replace the differential fluid after the break-in before dragging it? Is the dot-4 brake fluid only necessary for a road course/track?

Changing the diff fluid is not necessary to drag the car, but I changed mine after 1000 miles anyway and I'm glad I did (flush out break in crud).

Brake fluid would be a road course/track thing as you suggested.

Should I have the differential fluid replaced after break-in before dragging it?

It's not neccessary people do it as a choice after break in. I've got close to a hundred passes on my Camaro at 42k miles and haven't changed it. I'll probably do it before rhe summer is out though.
