Camaro Subwoofer

I finally got the subwoofer in. It’s a JL audio 10w6v3. I have to make the paint matched silver neomagnet grills to hide any other imperfections on the front and to make a cleaner, more stylish and intricate design. I have focal k2 door speakers. Next step is to dynamat the whole car. I tried my best to make the sub box fit so it took up no room, But I needed it to be the right size. It just so happened that it is not only the perfect size, but it fits. There are a lot of angles on the box though, helps bring a cabinet builder.

Nice! I'd like to add a sub to mine but can't find the box. I had that same set up in my fifth gen and it gave me just what I wanted in sound for my car. Had a buddy swap out the amp and I had a control on the dash for the bass. Just want a little more thump!

I'm betting he misspelled being as bring, so he built it. Great work.

Definitely not the W6 stealth box, I have one laying around that I haven't installed yet. The speaker is more set to the rear of the vehicle to get 1 cubic ft. of volume. Regardless nice work

Does anyone know the size of the alternator on a RS? I have two mosconi amps I was going to put in my 2018 Escalade, but I’m not touching the sound system in that for now. It’s Galden Class A mosconi. That amp uses 80A. Then I have a mosconi 1000.1 or something that also uses 80A or something like that. I think I’m gonna have to do a twin alternator setup.

looks nice, I'm sure it sounds great also, I would save the money and effort on the dynamat considering the Camaro is so we'll insulated you can't really hear the exhaust inside. I'm guessing a layer of dynamat wouldn't do much, for the cost and effort .

Great work! Any photos of it not yet installed so we can see all the custom angles and such?

Believe me, You should dynamat wherever possible. I had rattle noise coming from the top of the back window. just stuffed some dynamat in the headliner closest to the back window and problem solved.

I bought a few rolls of dynamat. Just haven’t got around to it yet.
