That's scary fast! I wouldn't want to be shifting gears in a manual going that fast, two hands on the wheel for me. 180+ mph down the straight, no thanks I have seen to many people killed in racing at those speeds. For me the ZL1 would be a lot of fun on the drag strip, but on a road course I think a 1LE may be more my speed.

Thats really quick. Earlier this year a large section of the track was improved. Would be interesting to see the 5th run for a time on the improved track. No doubt the 6th is faster, but I question the time gained from track improvements.

20MPH faster on the final straight than the z/28 was able do. That's pretty impressive. The downshifts sounded good too. I've never heard any numbers for downshift times, but they did sound good.

Wow, that's impressive. The A10 shifts are insane.
Any chance the Z06 lap will be released?

Couple things i'm noticing:
1. how relaxed that driver is, in some of the turns he's simply holding on with his fingers, as opposed to a full grip of the hand. 2. he's not using the paddle shifters. Great job GM! |

Is that seat also going to come as a factory option? I thought they were Recaro not Sparco?

No, the Sparco is safety equipment along with a couple other items. It's a pretty standard thing to do when testing the cars out. The factory and OEM seats are AQJ code Recaros.
