Headlight/bulb help

Hello all! Im new to the forum but have searched here before as a guest.

I have a 2010 Camaro SS, I've had it since last March.

I signed up because I need help replacing the bulb or even finding out how to remove the bulb with out taking the whole headlight off. I've seen the videos here but none of them seem to help. They all show a cap/cover over on the back of the headlight but mine doesn't have that.

Does any one have any insight?

Pretty sure you'll have to remove the front bumper to access the lights, unless I don't know someone else knows how.

Do you have the RS package?

Don't they just twist right off. That's how I accessed mine when I switched to a 6k bulb.

Look at the back of your car if the SS emblem is red then you have the RS model. Yes all you do is unscrew the center portion of the light.

Yes, the SS is red. Thanks for the info. I've tried to turn that but it wouldn't budge but I also wasn't putting a lot of strength because I didn't know if that was the way to get to the bulb.

Are you serious?

If the car has a red SS emblems and halo lights, its RS. If it has white SS emblems and conventional headlights, and a button to operate the fog lights, it's not RS.

There are no Owners Manual instructions for RS headlights, but non-RS lamps come out just like on any older car.

He asked the question so I believe he is serious. Maybe he's just not as smart and great as you are.

Yeah, I'm serious.

But also it doesn't have halo headlights. Headlights are a bluish color though.

So, is my car SS with RS package? Is that what y'all mean by saying RS model?

That looks like an aftermarket HID set up in that picture to me.

Looking at the picture that is a Non-RS headlight housing, those housings are H13 bulbs. Those H13 bulbs twist out with a 1/4 turn.

As for the emblems being Red, you can get that done even if the car does not have the RS package. We sell overlays that can change the color, so the previous owner might have done something like that.

Thank you,
Ricardo
