Helix Tail lights

So I have a 2017 1SS and I decided to get the Helix Tail Lights, they look good and work like a charm now my problem is that they seem to draw power and drain the battery, a few days ago I decided to reinstall my GM dark tail lights back in and my inside door lock lights are out like they are supposed be where as with the Helix they were on, and after a few days my battery would be dead, so is there a fix to these lights or do I need to add a Load Resistor or do something else.

Contact the vendor you bought them through and request the harness which corrects this problem. I had the same issue and after installing the harness my battery stay charged for at least 9 days. I am going to let it go longer to see if it totally fixed the problem or if there is still a drain on the system. I bought mine through wildhammer and he hooked me up with the harness which came from HELIX directly I believe.

I just talked to Matt at wildhammer and he is going to see about getting the harness to correct the issue, he said that this problem is with the MY 17's.

Mine is a 16 so I don't think its year specific. Just that the lights were not configured to draw current correctly. They also make a correction harness for the 18's as well.
