Hood wrap material

A big piece of road debris hit and dented my hood. Also scratched deep enough to reach the paint. After I fix the damage I wanna wrap the hood again.

My question, is the oem hood wrap considered matte black? Cuz a wrap place near me only has black satin. I really want it to look as original as it can.

It’s more of a satin finish. 3M and Avery are two of the companies that make it.

The original is a sort of in between, matte and satin. Many have their hoods re-done with satin as they feel it better matches the mirrors etc.
