Another diff fluid change question
Two things:
Is anyone familiar with using Amsoil 'Easy-pack'? And if so, is there enough room under the car to get this up in there and fill the diff with it? Thanks |

WELL... That's ATF, I wouldn't put that in your Differential...

Amsoil doesn't sell any diff fluid that's compatible with our LSD.
Personally, I used a fluid transfer pump and GM's LSD fluid. Works fine.

When I changed my diff fluid, having a transfer pump with a hose made the job mess-free. I can't imagine that squeezing a bag with no hose into the cramped area where the fill plug is would result in anything other than a mess...

Amazon and other online retailers have it. https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-GM-88.../dp/B00GTJD5RG https://www.gmpartsnow.com/oem-parts/gm-oil-88862624 It's a thigh squeeze for sure...I used a transfer hand pump picked up at local parts store. |

I picked up two quarts at the local dealer as time was a concern, later found it online for about half what dealer charged, ordered several quarts.

You can grab a nice little transfer pump and the GM fluid at Amazon for sure. I had to replace my pump so I bought both, I think the pump was maybe $20...

A slightly better price on Amazon, you'll need two.
