This might be a shot in the dark, but if they are using the same manual transmissions from gen5, then they may be shipping the excess gen5 manuals from Oshawa to the new plant. This could restrict the amount of manual cars built to a small number of transmissions they currently have on hand in the gen6 plant. Just food for thought. Logistics could be a factor here.

I dont think it is the transmission or color. I have seen both a8 and manual trans hit 3300 and I have seen a hyper blue hit 3300 while I am at 3100 still. One common factor found is the wheels. The ones I have seen that have 3300 are factory installed upgraded wheels while the 3100 are either dealer or orig wheels. I could easily be wrong though .

Negative. I only have the default wheels and hit 3300.

I have not been able to find a common link between why our orders went to 3300 and some only went to 3100.

Just looking at where they were ordered from they are across the us so not geographic reasons. I can only assume it has to do with when it was submitted and picked up by GM. Sledge situation I hate to assume but when he was bumped back to 10/12 they put him at the end of the 10/12 list and instead of the front pushing 10/12 back a spot in line.

If it helps my build is just 2ss hyper blue A8 and npp I am at 3100 as of earlier today thought it may have changed thru out the day.

Either way all of these orders are going to be built the week of 10/12 and held along with at least a couple week of production before being shipped all at once...so really it doesn't matter all that much at this point.

Yeah, not sure what is going on with mine. Was chilling a week ahead, hit 3100 2 weeks ago and all the sudden.... shoved into 10/12 and stale mate on any status movement.

I am certainly happy for everyone hitting 3300, but can't help but wonder what has happened to my order.

As a side note, I have been told before orders can and do get fulfilled based on dealership. Now, No one ever confirmed that is true, but maybe my dealer isn't as high volume as I thought.

It will come when it comes, but man am I bummed.

I have a feeling that your car will be done with the group. They usually lot the vehicles after production for QC before letting them loose. I suspect yours will be right there with mine.

A true roller coaster ride! And I thought I was being metaphorical!!!

But when its done and you are driving home, it is definitely a ride worth the taking.

I see we have the answer about the two sets of wheels.
