The only thing I haven't had is a turbo build. And had that Huron speed kit been available prior to my Whipple purchase, I likely would of given it a shot. I really like the looks of that setup. Be a killer setup with a nice Circle D 32-3400 stall converter.
Yeah, when it came out I sold my Procharger and bought that kit with the biggest turbos available. I am waiting on it to arrive and will post a build thread but it is going to be a forged 416, GPI cam, Circle D converter, Crawford Racing Port injection with the turbo kit looking for 1200+.

These are all great points. The main thing is I want to feel like I have added power even when just passing someone in the slow lane. I don't want to have to take the car up to 5000+ RPM just to get the power to kick in.
You will already feel the extra power at 2-2.5k rpm, it'll be freight train-like at 4-4.5k, and will keep pulling hard to 6k or even higher. I have a Maggie, it won't disappoint, and I'm sure a Whipple would be similar.

Note that the tune is crucial, and make sure the A8 is also tuned properly. In good hands it will become a great transmission, I have zero problems with Ted Jannetty's tune on it, partial throttle, WOT, downshifts, 1-2, 3-1, all great. Paddle response isn't at A10 levels, but that's pretty much it.

Just to add The Centrifugal will still produce power in the lower RPM's. Will you notice a couple pounds of boost in the lower RPMs? Absolutely. Granted it's not the hit like the full boost a PD blower will produce down low but for me that was one of the selling points of the Centri, to come on gradually and build and build and result in that endless feeling of pulling harder and harder.

Also your Tuner will play a major part in dialing in the the way car ramps the power into normal driving. Centri or PD!.
