Lowered. OEM measurements?
Over the weekend I installed a set of Eibach on the car. After I got the rear in the air and supported, I realized I didn't measure fender to floor. While there's no doubt it's lowered, really just curious if it was as advertised or (I'm guessing) a little more. I swear I've seen pictures of ZL1 owners that measured before, but I can't find them to save my life.
Also had a question... After an 8 mile drive after installing them, took some measurements and 3 of the corners is sitting right at 27" with the rear driver's side at 27.25". I won't align it till end of the week in case it settles a bit, but if the dimensions don't change any suggestions to get rear passenger side up a hair more? Pics for attention and hell, even a time lapse.

it will probably settle and lower more also thats why they recommend to wait on alignment

The whole alignment directly after spring installation I don't necessarily agree with, I've always waited a week or so. Apparently even if Eibach installs your springs, they will align right afterwards. For OEM fender height, it seems like I remember around 27.5" front and around 27.625-27.75" rear.

Give it more time to settle. That said, 1/4”or 6mm variance isn’t significant. Don’t count on it being 100% identical on all 4 corners. Chances are, it wasn’t that way on your stock springs either.

Stock '21 ZL1, 2,700 miles: Front (both) = 27.6", rear driver side = 28.2", rear passenger side = 27.9".
You're fretting over nothing. It's because the battery is above the rear passenger side tire, pushing that corner down 1/4".

This is mine when I first did it and second picture by my shop is 4 years after I originally lowered it.
Yours will drop some but doubt it will drop too much more and its sitting perfect now, tires are almost tucked and looks good. I bet you have some pictures before you lowered it and you can see the big gap the GM does on all its 4wd Camaros.

As for the alignment, mine was spot on, but I have had other ZL1 owners complain about the Eibach alignment. I guess it just depends who you get to do it....I was lucky it seems. In any case, Eibach has always been a good set of springs, if anything to complain about they usually do not go as low as other lowering springs, but I guess they are more conservative, more on performance than for show, but always good quality and good results on the track. |

Thanks for the measurements and agree with rest, it's never 100% perfect. Heck I was actually thrilled even the fronts matched, much less 3 of the 4. I'm not too concerned with it, only mentioned. The battery makes perfect sense for additional drop on that side. For kicks measured last night and measurements are the same. Versus your measurements does seem like it possibly dropped more than advertised, but I'm 110% happy with additional drop as I preferred a little more than 0.4". Alignment scheduled for Friday morning and new tires are next. Indicators showed I had a month (maybe 2) remaining after looking at them when lowering, but driving in the rain this morning I absolutely need tires. It's no fun doing 50 on the interstate and being all puckered up if I do any faster, lol. Likely new wheels at the same time.

Thanks! She loves being in the shop and to be honest that is where her and I play almost everyday. She's had full run of the place since she could walk and never slowed down. For whatever reason she's good about handling tools and remarkably keeping said tools away from painted objects. Also learns stuff from time to time, last night was applying name decals to her power wheels.
