There is no gasket, it's a bead of silicone. Typically you just need to tighten the bolts and the leak will stop. Did mine 3 years ago, no leak since.

Was just quoted $3300 for leaking oil pan fix.Glad I seen this thread-going to check it out.
35000 miles on car. Follow-up: Chevy says they dont want to tighten bolts because it could make leak worse and disavow any knowledge of an issue with bolts loose. Might have to get under there myself.

My previous 17 that had 50,000 miles never had this issue. I never even knew this was a thing.
But my 21 with 40,000 miles has been leaving spots recently. I searched and found these threads. I went to dealer today and gotta come back in a few days.....like yall said they are ordering a new oil pan under warranty.
