The Grammar Nazis have been quite entertaining in this thread thus far...
I must say (as an assistant inventory manager for a high-volume dealer) if we have allocation for anything fun, we order it. Even if we don't have anyone knocking down our doors for it, it usually plays out just fine and is occasionally sold before it's even off the truck.
So, I'm buying the story about not having a deposit to get back. If you treat your dealer with respect, they'll try to make your experience as smooth as possible.

he didn't want to deal with any "B.S." - such as those pesky trades..or financing's..
