Had the groan bad, took it in and got the fluid changed. Groan stopped.

Now the groan comes back very slightly in really cold weather. Nothing like it used to be though.

Subscribed here as I have the groan also and got in a vote. Im curious if the 1LE E-diff or V6 cars has had any of the same issues or just our SS's.??

Couldn't duplicate. However will leave the car overnight for the recall when it he parts coe in. They can hear it then.

Actually I would think its V8 issues only because these have limited slip and I doubt the v6 has this.

Mine makes groaning sound on cold start first 2 turns and goes away after 3 turn. I don't believe its normal. I love this car but I don't want to be left stranded at the wrong time or place. Appointment on Monday but not very confident after they recommend I drive figure eights daily....really? this isn't a fricking motorcycle man...

Dealer told me they haven't had any new ss Camaros come in yet so they aren't aware of my problem, not as many of us out there, a lot of v6 so I don't think there open diff has this issue, must be the ss limited slip dif, probably locking together without lube then after a few splashes and back to normal, must be causing metal friction damage which concerns me.
