Rinseless is super easy and car looks amazing! Did it in 38F with plenty wind chill, used warm water in the bucket and was done in 30 minutes.

Ordered the Rinseless Wash kit from Adams a few minutes ago. Going to give it a try.

Watched a few videos and it certainly looks like a nice option for me in the Winter.

Read the post from the beginning...... its here a couple times.....they are pretty much all the same… It's the procedure that matters, not the product

Just click on the Glen's documents and they have the products and the process listed...why reinvent the wheel thingy for me.

Finally tried a rinseless wash tonight on my girlfriend's road salt covered car in the garage. I hosed it off first to get the heavy stuff off. It looks great but I don't think I saved any time at all. I know there is probably a learning curve with a new process or maybe I just suck at it. Anyone else in the north/cold states have any tips? I mixed up a spray bottle of the DG rinseless too and misted first due to the salt. Definitely saved water though.

I had picked up 16 oz of Duragloss Rinseless and these waterless wash towels from Autogeek: http://www.autogeek.net/sb-wwt1616-6.html. The DG Rinseless worked great (not surprised at all) and so did the towels but I ended up using a dry one to follow up. One of the reviews said they work good for rinseless too and they did but I ended up using a second dry one and to dry. The dry one worked great at sucking up the residual water. I'm still considering trying a different type of towel or rinseless mitt though.

I also got a 16 oz container of Ultima Waterless Wash plus concentrate. I've seen alot of good things about it and always wanted to try it. My plan is to use that to keep my wheels clean in between washes and possibly even the car when we get a span of sunny days in the spring/summer instead of rinseless. Maybe overkill but like I said, always wanted to try it out.

For me, the rinseless does save time and I'm always impressed with the results. I only have experience with DG but I maintain 3 vehicles so do a lot washing. Your missing the secret, the waffle weave towel. Buy two or three, sometimes one will be too wet by the end.
If your car is really dirty, with road salt, I would rinse it off really well first. I did this yesterday and used my electric leaf blower to mostly dry it off. Then started the rinseless process.
My suggestions are to fill your bucket with hot water, add DG, and then add your towels. Mix up real good, let it soak, clean wheels or something while those towels soak. Then float those sopping wet towels over section at a time, gently washing from top to bottom, I use one side for section, flip over and do next section. After each panel or two, start with new towel. Try to leave it "wet" as long as possible without letting it air dry. Then mist your waffle weave drying towel with the mixed DG solution and gently wipe dry.

Glen,

Is rinse-less still ok to do for a new car that has not gone through the dawn wash and polishing/sealing process first?

I've enjoyed reading through your links.
