Key Fob reprogramming
SO I purchased a wrecked 2018 ZL1 without a Key or Key Fob....
Had my Dealership make me a laser cut key Purchased a used Key Fob from a 2017 ZL1 Camaro Now trying to reprogram the replacement used Key Fob and it will not "sync" with my car???? I can get it into the "Learn" mode but will not complete the process when I put the used Key Fob in the smaller back cup holder... Any Ideas / Suggestions? |

Hmmmm.... curious if the 2017 key is comparable with the 2018? Figuring the ECM’s between the 2 are different..

The Dealership says 2017 & 2018 are the same replacement part numbers

I think the issue may be using a used fob programmed to another vehicle instead of a new, never programmed one. I never found an answer to that question, and the owner's manual is not clear on that point.
Anyone have a definitive answer to this? |
