I normally don't buy oil online either except this is so hard to get in the store and the dealers charge an arm and a leg. We've had a couple of threads on this and Speedway came out tops shipped to your door. I've ordered at least 4 times from them and had $20 off coupons a couple times. I've also never paid shipping.

Was that for 10 or 12 quarts? I’ve been buying the 0W-40 off eBay, but I’ll start checking for that $20 off coupon from Speedway. Cost me $105.99 shipped for 12 quarts. I wish we could run the 15W-50 all the time since it’s 1/2 the price of the 0W-40 lol. Honestly I don’t think it would hurt a thing as long as you let the car warmup longer in colder weather. I had mine in for a month just because I had 2 track days planned really close together & didn’t want the added hassle/expense of swapping oils back & forth in that short of time frame.

I would say that Torco falls into the same category.

I went with the Driven Racing Oil DI30 (5wt-30)..

The Di30 carry's more of the anti-wear additive, or ZDDP (zinc) than what is allowed by licensed API and Dexos oils. Simply put the API and Dexos classifications limit us to a minimum performance spec; we formulated the DI oils to reduce harmful LSPI events while providing superior anti-wear protection and to free up horsepower by reducing friction and maintaining proper ring seal.

Yeah, that was 12 qts. Every 1st time customer gets that coupon and on one of my orders they were late delivering due to shortage and they gave me another 20 off. I really just use it on the track too. Guarantee much better drivers than me in regular ZL1's are pulling more G's than I am.

Ok cool, I’ll order from them next time. I’m with you & know I don’t need the 15W50 at my skill level either. Mostly just worry I’d be SOL if something happened on track & I needed my warranty.

But you weren't on the track when it happened...

Oil cap says 0/w40

I would be Waaay more worried about all that stuff in your sig over oil.

True that. This car just has a CAI. The warranty was definitely shot on the SS lol

Mine took 11 quarts exactly. Wondering if i've overfilled it, but its sitting right at the top mark. Letting it sit for like 10 minutes right now to check it again.

Edit* yeah looks like I'm over the line after letting it settle, I'll have to remove some.
