MAGGIE 2650, JRE ROUGH IDLE CAM BUILD - A COUPLE QUESTIONS
She is going into the shop in November for the blower/cam install. But I have a problem right now.
It looks like I have a couple bad injectors; #'s 7 & 8 with 7 being the worst. Four of the other six are acting up as well. Do I/should I put the +30's in? I am not going to push the car to the limit tune-wise. It is my DD and logs fifty miles a day all freeway. I would appreciate it if you guys would weigh in on this and help me decide which way to go. I would rather not spend the extra couple grand - but will if necessary. Thanks in advance.

Do the injectors..only regret on my build not doing them while the supercharger was off.

I'm running a 2300 and never planned on going past 800 whp. I recently replaced my injectors due to one being bad and it is a lot of work... make the right choice LOL. If the are going in for a blower swap then all the hard work has already been done. Make sure they replace the two metal lines.
If you plan on staying on 93 or 93 with water/meth and < 850 whp (meth) then stick with stockers. If your build revolves around ethanol and 800+ whp then go bigger! (as stated above).

Use the LPE cam with the 42% fuel lobe, LPE's HPFP, Plus 30 injectors, Fore Triple in tank pump or and aux system fuel pump that can hold constant pressure under load to 80 psi if needed some people say 80 psi isn't necessary but LPE designed it and that's what their tuner said when I was having trouble at 890 on full E. LPE tried the Aux setup 1st like DSX but it fell short so now they build a setup similar to the fore. Also you will need to go larger on the fuel feed to LPE check valve and replace the line from the ck valve to the pump with a larger line. JRE can also have his cam cut with that fuel lobe to take for potential of the LPE pump. There has been a lot crying that the LPE stuff isn't that great but installers fall short on the low side, hpfp spacing, and the fuel lobe of 42%. The LPE HPFP is the only pump that can run 42% lobe your little jre cam has a 32% lobe.
1700 LPE pump (***** SPACED CORRECTLY****) 2000 for plus 30 injectors FIC 200 lpe check valve new lines (shops discretion) 2600 fore triple in tank If done correctly should be able to reach 930 plus on all E no mixing Or you can just get a new lt4 injector set from Scoggin Dickey for 494.00 or gmpartsdirect. 2650, Heads, cam, headers, stock LT4 fuel system w some low side help, 112mm TB and big Gulp will do 850 on 93 all day! Ask JRE if he can do a port injection setup with Toohighpsi's port spacers.. You can go with LT1 injectors and pump and make up the difference on the port side you can also use your LT4 parts as well but you could re coop some money LT1 stuff is almost free! Haltec WB2 $450 Haltec elite 950 $1200 ID1050x $900 Toohighpsi port spacer w rails $700 Holley or AEM aux pump setup like DSX to run port side $500 AN lines and Fittings $400 Fuel to 1400 hp Just have to find a capable tuner. It will run like stock won't even know its on the car. The XdI setup is always an option as well JRE has done that but its 13k in parts counting the fore.

You will definitely be able to run e60 or e85. Either with or without e you will be able to run more timing and pick up power

For instance I had a 5th gen SS keep in mind this was a year or 2 before the fore and squash had setups. All I had was the LPE and Livernois setup. That was where you dropped the tank did some cross over tubes replaced a pump, ran new plumbing and swapped out the fuel control module to a dual setup. All i could muster out of my 2300 blower was about 690, I then did the twin turbo setup from AGP got the best EFR turbos ceramic bearings blah blah with less boost 9psi vs 15 psi i was above 800. the more efficient and more air being moved the fuel system will go further different power adders make a difference to how far a fuel system can go you can't really put a number on it. I have scene the Lingenfelter builds they do 850 on 93 and 930 on full e with there 2650 setup like I described and that's a non ported Edelbrock. I was able to get the DSX to hold 72 psi but that was it and I had a 38% lobe so I fell a tad short on the E side. I sent LPE's tuner my log and they are the one that suggested a better lowside with my ck valve. your 10% less on the highside so any guess is as good as mine.

EDFHOBBIES is correct about "power adders" and many overlook his point. Since the beginning of the ICE automobile, the engine is nothing more than a mechanical air pump. The more air you can move, the more HP you can obtain. Pretty simple analogy but, that's physics. Of course timing and fuel enter the equation but, still those two won't make much of a difference if you can't move more air.
