Go to www.pacificprodux.com order their Zip Mist. Spray on and wipe right off! Use on my boat all the time after being in the water in 115 degree plus heat and wipes right off.

My 1LE had spots etched into the roof and deck lid from flower petals from a tree drying on after rain. I couldn’t get them out. My body shop guy used this to remove them all easily. Not aggressive

I had similar thing happen years ago when visiting my sister in south FL. and my '16 Camaro SS was Black. OMG, was I super pi$$ed off. I got them off with a combination of Meguiar's Spot remover and Mirror Glaze 2.0, but it took a lot of work.

I’m afraid way you explained it your going to need to polish. By had should work but better if you have a orbital polisher. Would give waterspot remover a try.
Not a fan of Chemical guys. The Meguiars would probably work. I would personally use CarPro spotless. https://www.autogeek.net/carpro-spot...t-remover.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Had this happen to the hood on my 2013 ZL1. Nothing I tried worked. No even Adam's Severe Swirl & Scratch Remover. took it to the dealer and they hand rubbed a section with 3M Perfect-It EX Rubbing Compound and it came right off. This stuff is made for 1200 and finer scratches. I bought a bottle and finished it myself.

Another secret tip for water spot removal.. wheel cleaner. Its not something that you would guess at first, but it works. Spray a little on a microfiber and wipe away.
I do not recommend using any type of rubbing compound unless it is completely necessary. One of the main rule of thumbs for detailing - always start with the least aggressive method first, work your way up IF needed. |
