What mods to sound similar to a v8?

Hello, I have been looking for someone who modified their v6 6th gen camaro to sound like a v8, but I never found any. Most of them are exhaust mods that will literally sound like a v6 and not close to a v8.

I have found this guy who modified his v6 Mustang to actually sound like a v8 and you can't tell it's a v6 unless he goes to real high RPMs.

This is the video link for the mustang:

I'm looking for that throaty sound that the v8 has mostly on low rpms.
is there any way that I can modify my v6 camaro to sound like or near a v8?

something similar to this when cruising at low speed:

Nothing I know of. Even with all my upgrades it doesn't sound like a true V8. But I like the sound mine does make.

There's this https://ixsound.eu/

This is speakers?
I'm looking for something that's similar and does not fully sound like the v8 cause I know our car will not make a true v8 sound, I just want the vibe that it gives if you know what I mean from the previous videos I sent

If you like the way that Mustang sounds, just get one of the many axle-back exhausts that has no mufflers. IMO, that is not a V8 sound, just an unmuffled V6 sound.

You could get axelback exhaust. I have Flowmaster American Thunder. Pretty aggressive sounding but still doesn't do the big V8 sound.

Keep in mind the mustang is doing a cold startup. On cold startup mine is loud and sounds like that too then quiets down. I'd be curious what that mustang sounds like on a normal startup and normal drive conditions.

Thanks for the advice, Do you know any axle-back in particular that sounds nice and not raspy?

I like the video man that's really good handling and sounds amazing too, by any chance do you have a video of yours with a cold start?

There is none. The closest low speed idle with decent sound is adding a magnaflow resonate x-pipe in front of flowmaster mufflers.

The only way for a v6 to sound like a v8 is add 2 more cylinders. *not saying in a mean way*

The issue will be that at idle and low rpm, with an aftermarket muffler, it will sound beefier than stock. The issue will be when you get in the upper RPMs. That's when no matter what, it will sound like a v6. Headers, x pipe/ h pipe, cut ours, ect....will still not sound like a v8.

I concur with that, there is little point in trying to imitate the sound of a different engine configuration, better to embrace and highlight the best aspects of what one actually has. My supercharged pushrod V8 car will never sound like a V10, V12 or a DOHC V8 either, and I absolutely won't try to hack the tune or add various sound manipulation parts to make it sound like those engines..
