Eagle F1 Supercar 3 or Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02

SO I need new tires and I'm debating whether to stick with Conti or go with the Good years.

The only reason I'm debating really is because of the price
Continentals are gonna be around $2250
Goodyears are gonna be $1475

And I've also thought about continentals in the front and goodyears in the back to keep price down and be able to steer in the rain

Whats does everyone think about this?

If you are concerned about long term use of the 3, then they are not what you want. They are good in the rain when new, but they don't have much tread to begin with. Their wet performance will decrease quickly with wear.

The Conti is the better tire for your stated uses, by far. Do you have 1LE-sized wheels? If you're on stock SS wheels, don't try to pinch 305 and 285 width tires on them! Stick with stock SS sizes.

I was just going to ask that question. I have aftermarket wheels 20X9 and 20X10.

But I'm taking my rims to get refinished and putting on my stock rims during the process and was going to ask if I can get 305s on the stock rear rim, but I guess I cant fit 305 on the stock rear wheels. Well good to find out now than find out at the shop trying to get them put on there.

You can mount 305s onto 9.5" wheels, but you shouldn't.
