Slipping clutch, cold weather??

I have a 2013 1LE; Cammed 416ci. With an LS7 clutch and only a few thousand miles after the install. My car rips through 1st and 2nd but wont fully grab in 3rd or 4th and starts to slip A bit... it is cold here 40/50’s. Is this normal or do I need to adjust something?? Getting frustrated

40 degree temps won't have any affect on the clutch, maybe -40 degrees. I don't think there is any after install adjustment on it since it's hydraulic. Was the throwout bearing clearance checked on install?

Perhaps that "rips through 1st and 2nd" might play a part? Just because our cars are 'high performance' doesn't always mean they like it. : /

It's glazed, replace it and resurface the flywheel.

I drive a stick in 2-20 degree weather. It doesn’t feel any different. As others have said, you will need to pull it

It’s absolutely nuts man, I really baby it most places, an occasional mash of the pedal but definitely not like I drove my 1977 Z28. Cluch is brand new along withGM slave cyl, tick billet release bearing and the remote bleaders. But it is steadily getting worse even as easy as I am with it now.

Do you have any freeplay at top of pedal? If the slave cylinder gap to pressure plate is too tight it will cause slipping. As a clutch wears this gap will get tighter.

Check the bellhousing bolts. They may have loosened due to improper torque.

I think that is one of the problems, because driving forward or reverse or letting off the clutch too hard or engaging it too fast will cause a clunking sound which originally I thought was the drive train but I’m starting to think it’s somewhere in the clutch area.
