I don't know about that. Mine isn't. Mine is my only car and my daily driver.

That can probably be said for the ZL1 1LE, but I think less so for the SS 1LE.

Im retired , i cant say its my weekend car , because its always a weekend , its my nice weather car , never drive it when temps are below 40 and never purposely drive it in the rain ...with that being said it will be interesting to see what it sells for , i dont have to sell it but the wife wants some type of luxury suv...you know what they say about a happy wife ?

I looked at a 2019 CPO 1ss 1le at a dealership in scranton pa last month for 36k. It had about 15k miles. So probably about that. Yours has better miles but you won’t get dealer pricing either.

If you can get that from a dealer that would super, but don't be surprised if it's several grand lower.

A few grand less than that imo considering I was able to get 2 phone/email quotes for a new 2018 1SS 1LE with PDR slightly below $39k back in fall of 2018 when I was shopping nationwide and limiting my search to only hyper blue cars with PDR. They were both far enough away that I would have needed to fly out and drive them back home through which would not be ideal with the current covid situation. But paying $1k+ to ship it home and hope for no damage/joyrides is a risk too. The covid factory shutdowns could have reduced new SS 1LE inventory and therefore created less price negotiation room currently but not sure since I'm not in the market.

Also I checked cars.com the other day out of curiosity and the cheapest used 2017+ SS 1LE ad was asking 31k with 40k miles and there were several others with lower mileage in the 33-35k range.

That is what I am seeing as well. It seems they have plateaued at least for asking prices. Would love to see what actual sale prices are like.

I would suspect I can buy a brand new 2020 1SS 1LE for 39-40k with 84 mos of 0% interest if I wanted. So the gap between that new car and a high mileage 2017 is really not that big.

The issue with that though is that even with zero interest, your are going to be so upside down for a LONG time on a 84/mth note, unless you put $15 to $20K down.

People will tend to pay more at a dealership for a few reasons. If you’re thinking of selling your car for 34.5k private party I’d say that’s a very fair price and you should get that. Good luck!
