Looking at the weight spec of these engines at less then 200 pounds I believe they are slightly lighter then GMs 8 speed automatic transmission.

Tremec specs the TR-9007 at 198lbs http://www.tremec.com/anexos/File/TR...7%20DCT_A4.pdf
The 8L90 specs at 208-215lbs. I can't find anything on the A10 from either GM or Ford, but most articles seem to state no added weight over previous units.
