My Borla NPP valves rattle. I haven't opened up a support ticket because they probably wouldn't replace the pieces. I don't know, maybe I will. I asked on the forum if anyone that had Borla system had rattling valves and no one else did.

You won't know until you reach out to borla. I spoke with one of their reps (very friendly guy) via there 1 800 number and he told me their warranty is stronger then gm's. You paid top dollar for the product, you're entitled to have one that doesn't rattle I would think.

I was look the NNP/AFM. I know that the last unit rattle till the car would get on 8 instead of 4. Just wondering if I should hold off for a couple months ( Looking for feedback from Borle)?

Also how do people feel abut the CF/Chrome??

I called Borla up and provided the requested info. They acknowledged the issue and are sending me new NPP pipes.

Order Placed

Sorry for the wording on the last messages. I also talked to Borla and was told the rattle issue has been resolved. So I went with the CF tips and NPP. I was also told that the AFM, 4cyl to 8cyl and back rattle, was very much reduced.

This is one great hing about Borla. Stuff might be expensive, but they take care of you if there is an issue. No run around either.

I am looking at getting my cat-back in the next couple weeks, but this is the first car I am doing anything with the exhaust so I had a few questions.

With the Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust w/ Dual Tips (NPP-Delete) #140688 does this delete the secondary cats or keep them? I believe this keeps the AFM valves as well since you only worry about those when you do your headers?

Thanks in advance!

Deletes the secondary cats, and removes the AFM valves. You will get a check engine light if you have AFM with the 3 inch pipes. The solution would be to order the 2.75 midpipes with AFM mounts or get an AFM module from EFI tuning that eliminates the CEL and keeps AFM functionality.
