C7 Carbon requires your age when buying
I was going to buy ZL1 style rockers from C7 Carbon the other day. When on the page where you fill out your personal info - name, address, e-mail, etc - they require that you include your age. For car parts.
That seems a bit strange, and it seems like info that they just don't need. Anybody see something like that elsewhere, or have a plausible explanation why that would be required? BTW, I've e-mailed them to ask them why they need that. No response.

BTW, when I say they ask for your age, I mean they require age verification. In other words, they want my birth date.

You can checkout using PayPal or call them to place the order if you’d prefer to not divulge that previous information that can likely be Googled if someone really wanted it.

I called them today. Apparently, kids would order parts without their parents' consent. So they just want to make sure the person ordering is over 18.
