Can you tell me why this deck is so much better than what is in the stock Camaro???
Sorry if that is a stupid question!
Its just a personal choice. Some like stock some like mods..

I personally like the 7" monitor and running DVDs and Nav.
The unit is strong push than the stock setup and more options. I think the look is cleaner IMO as well.

Don't think i saw this asked here yet but what about the usb port? can the pre-existing usb port still be used if going with a new head unit? and does the new head unit HAVE to have a usb feature in order for the one already in the car to work?

Your new head unit would have the USB interface if optioned that way! .

I have basically asked this same question. Still no response. Again, how do we handle the "CONFIG" for the car that was handled by the factory radio?

NOPER!

No button on the new unit to config.

Whatever your settings are in the OEM radio, prior to disconnect is what the settings will be!

Hope that helps....

IndyPowr nor have I, had the chance to play with the kit yet! My installer, is supposed to be doing a step by step photo journal for me, and I will share those photos once recieved.
