I did, but the difference in color makes it hard to notice anything substantial.

With a quick measurement the G4 Volute is about an inch larger OD.

Also the G3 uses an inlet spacer to mate up to the intake filter piping, the G4 has a larger inlet so it doesn't need the spacer.

I found the 10mm! I left it in the engine bay when I started the car for the first time with the G4 installed. Yup, then it fell into the belt and was projected into my new Champion radiator. What a mess. New radiator in route.

Yea. Just the impeller and volute are different. (Besides a newer E logo on the cover).

I know this is a little redundant with my other post, but I wanted to keep all ESS testing and results in this thread for people searching online.

Latest test was with the new TMS dart 427 and the ESS Tuning G4-95 head unit. I run straight pump Ethanol around 75% and no methanol. The overlay graph below shows the difference between the G3X and G4-95 with the same pulley combination. 200mm lower and 90mm upper. As you can see, on the 427, there is zero loss with the larger blower.

Next I will be testing their new Trumpet style intake to remove the air filter bend, and the G4-100.

I'm not 100% positive. I know its not belt slip, and the log from the run looks fine. On the previous pull, it spun the tires, so I assumed maybe it was just more wheel spin. All is good on the street.

Typical of Spark/RPM pick up on Dynojet, explains the Torque Donut mid point.

It may have experienced some slight misfire also.

Ted.
