Transmission or suspension noise?
I own a 2018 Camaro SS 1LE
Recently I've started hearing a 'squeaking' noise when coming to a stop or pulling off (forward & reverse motion) and going over bumps. It seemed to be coming from my passenger side so I jacked my car up and visually inspected the suspension components. I didn't notice any bent parts or hear any squeaking after tugging on everything I could. After working my way back under my car pulling on everything, I finally heard the squeaking again. It seems to be coming from the transmission area. If I pull the tranny in a front/backwards motion it makes this noise. Check out the vid below. Any ideas on what this could be ? Seeing as this is a 2018 I wouldn't expect any parts to be worn down already. Could it be a bushing somewhere ? I did hit a decent pothole like a month back but haven't really noticed the squeaking until 2 weeks ago. My car seems to pull to the right at times even after an alignment. Could my tranny be out of alignment/sagging somehow ? The bracket that holds it in seemed tight. Any ideas? |

Ya got me , but remember WD40 is your friend. Spritz any thing moving and chances are it won't come back!
