Diode Dynamics all the way. Already know 2 people with LED issues on their Oracle ones (typical for Oracle).

Hello

I bought two sets of the smoked Diode Dynamics Side Markers from Phastek.
Now we installed them and after a couple of minutes the tire pressure monitor doesn't show the pressure anymore on one tire and the error lamp comes up.
Once it is the front right sensore and next time left rear.
After removing the side markers and putting in again the OEM ones the error disappers and doesn't come again.
So it look slike the SM from Diode Dynamics are interfering somehow in the frequency...

Did someone have the same issue?

I wrote an email to Sean from Phastek and awaiting his Feedback.

Maybe Diode Dynamic Guys are able to respond at this issue as well and what could help to eliminate the issue?

Thanks

i have a 2019 and seem to be having the same problem. i have had the Diode Dynamics installed for a few weeks now and haven't had any issues and they look great, last nite was the first time i had the car out at nite since the lights were installed and after about a 20 minute freeway drive home the right front tpms reading went blank and the service tire system lite came on. the other 3 were fine, so i thought maybe a tpms sensor was bad and not reading, when i got home i unplugged the right front marker light and was able to re trigger the tpms sensor and all was fine.
from what other fellas have said is the shielding tape doesn't work to block the frequency signals and there is some talk over on the corvette forum about the same issue and described pretty much exact as to how mine went.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...with-tpms.html,

any ideas other than using a set of smoked lamps with red and amber bulbs? that would definitely fix the problem.

i hate to remove the Diode Dynamic lights because i really like the looks and fit of them.

Thanks

i posted about this before. i don't think you will go wrong with either company. the reason i choose oracle is from previous work they did for me on my caddy. also they are the only ones that offer color ghost matching. you do get what you pay for. i choose to spend more because i like the stealth look. hope the pics help.

*NOTE* people are having issue with to many LED addons with their car. Oracle did an update to their package with a little control box. it is maybe 1/2" by 1/2" in size. It helps with the issue.

Best bang for buck I'd say is the JW Motorsports side markers. Half the price of DD and I see no difference.

+1, running the JWM kit with no issues so far. It looks almost (99%) as good as Diode Dynamics for half the price, and the difference is mostly subjective, the illumination is a tiny bit grainier and there is an embossed brand marking in the plastic that I could do without.

I had an unlucky streak with Diode Dynamics: half the LEDs in the driver side front marker failed after a few months, then the replacement failed the exact same way after only two or three weeks, and that's when I switched to JWM. It must have been a faulty batch or some manufacturing defect and I'm sure they've worked it out in the meantime.

I did the DD smoked, when installed , I packed the electrical plug with dielectric grease to help with water intrusion, been almost a year without any failures.

i cant say i had that issue, this will be the 3rd car with oracle parts and no issue. but pricing the oracles are only good if your trying to color match like one person said. that is what i did else i would of went with DD for cheaper pricing on smoked.

I have the DD side markers and have been having the same issue.
About to swap them back out after reading this.
