I thought about it too but I already have a GPI ported High Ram waiting to be installed so if I got to cut a hole in the hood I might as well stick with what I got.

MSD Atomic is plastic, it has bungs for port injectors and tapped holes for mounting fuel rails. You could put nitrous nozzles instead of fuel injectors if you wanted of course.

I went with the Procharger because it was metal and didn't want any issues with anything breaking under boost. MSD would probably work for great for a nitrous build.

I haven't been on the forums in a while but I'm glad I came across this thread.

I knew they had an LS version Carbon PTR intake but not an LT option yet, just going off of Performance Designs' own websites products list. This is great news, I knew there was one made for a c8 so I was hoping eventually the LT1 got some love.

I was considering their Carbon Fiber hiram lid, but I'd prefer this whole setup.

Once he is done with testing I will share results and our future goal is to cast these vs just having the option in billet.
Definately interested in those test results as well as a possible cast option.

i ordered a btr manifold. not sure what to expect vs a ported msd. without seeing the manifold in person, im guessing there won't be much difference out of the box on a bolt on car. i'm curious how much porting can be done. given the price point it is a serious contender for the msd if it makes similar numbers. i plan on dyno testing the 2 back to back.

Interested in this ! If it fits under stock hood and is comparable to high ram it’s a no brainer!

I figured btr would have done some comparisons for marketing purposes. Kinda lame to push a product but not show results.

Interested in seeing this for sure. As far as how it compares to the hi ram would’ve nice to see on BTR’s part I think.

it is said to possess both qualities. it is a very short runner manifold. it is like the ls stuff that utilizes interchangeable plenums & runners, but i don't think there are any others available now for ltx stuff.

Hell ya! Can’t wait to see the results. Maybe we’ll bump into each other a SCT Indy or something lol.
