Don't know much about Estero Bay Chevy. All I know is whenever they do have a v8 Camaro it's always a loaded up 2ss rag top with everything or a 1LE loaded up all pushing 55k.

Gettle Punta Gorda actually had a couple LT1s believe it or not a couple months ago. Very rare to see. However they were loaded up and wanted over 42k with all the stuff put on it. Defeats the purpose of the LT1. Should just go ahead and get the 1 or 2ss then.

The car dealerships suck down here when it comes to performance cars.

Other than Jenkins and Sam Gallaway, none of them like carrying much inventory for performance.

They all seem to carry big cars for old people. SUVs, vans and some trucks. most lots you will find maybe a couple V8 models of Mustangs and Camaros if lucky.

But then Tampa and I4 area has all sorts of new inventory during typical times for Camaro.

There also aren't any "base" LT1s because nobody wants one. Customers are ordering or buying "loaded" LT1s, which is exactly the opposite of what Chevy thought would happen. Which is the better car: a loaded LT1 for $42K or a lightly equipped SS for the same amount? There's no comparison.

I was on my local dealers new car lot today. Took the Impala in. One RS Camaro that was already sold. Not a single new Silverado pickup. Only 4 new cars on the show room floor. All Cadillac's. Show room was empty, lot was empty. If it wasn't for a few used vehicles it would have looked like an abandoned car lot. This is by far the largest dealer from 40 miles north of me to 60 miles south of me. Crazy

The LT1 I built on Chevy's site had exactly 2 options, a black stripe down the middle of the car, and red brake calipers. That's it. The price was $36100. That's the way this trim level was meant to be ordered...I agree, if they're going to load up the LT1s, then a higher trim level would be a better value...

Seriously, good luck OP. Guys have been traveling near cross country to get what they want. That was before the most recent shutdown even.

I found my car via internet search. Went back a forth with the salesman until I got just the deal I wanted. Then went test drove, paid for and drove out.
