We moved to Tennessee about 3 weeks ago and brought our beauty with us. Unfortunately someone already has my custom license plate in TN so I'm left deciding what I'm going to get different for the first time since PA.

As always very nice! I liked the SSHARK tag, I was sad to hear you couldn't get that plate in TN after you had it in both PA & MO, but I'm sure you'll find something creative and cool to go with. When I thought about a personalized plate I had such a hard time thinking about it and whether it was good.

Question for ABM owners with Rally Stripes. What color Stripes would you suggest for an ABM? I’m looking at getting a car that is ABM w/ Gray Interior. Currently has Cyber Gray Hockey & Hood Stripes. Never been a fan of the Hockey & hood stripe combo, my last ABM had hockey & hood stripe combo which got removed within a couple of weeks after I got the car.

Yes, we need to keep this thread going. Haven't done anything this year, one of my best mods was the Heritage Grille. Blue Phoenix, I changed my stripes from factory silver to white, I also have the grey/black leather interior. It's been a long winter, can't wait for spring!

Pyroguy, read your build thread, Very impressive. My wife thinks I'm nuts because I hate yellow light! Thanks for the ideas, also the cut-outs are sweet. I also have the L99, I turned off AFM and made a world of difference. Long tubes and the throttle body upgrade sounds beneficial. Thanks, you have a Beautiful ABM, can't wait to see the new plate.

Naturally I'm a silver stripes fan. You've seen mine with the accent pin stripes inside the stripes as well. I think it really makes them pop.

Thanks for the kind words. She's definitely a labor of love. Check out Diode Dynamics if you want to get rid of that dim dome light. It's a SUPER easy replacement and then no more dim yellow light. If you ever want to talk about anything from my build don't hesitate to ask. Post on my build thread or send me a PM.

Happy to be joining the ABM group. I am picking this car up on Saturday with only 21,000 miles. It was originally a NY/NJ car.

2SS/RS Auto with factory 21" polished wheels, CGM stripe package, sunroof, grey interior

Yes, I still have my IOM car as well.

Lucky you, salesman sold it out from under me after telling me that I was all set with it and that it wouldn’t be sold out from under me. Yes I had a deposit on it. Not gonna hate you, salesman was after every buck possible, but reality is he was just worst salesman I’ve ever dealt with in my life. Yes his General Manager has gotten an email and spoke to me on the phone about it offering countless apologies. Just hoping to find another in that good of condition. Waited 2 weeks for that car to come in and was super excited about it. Is what it is.

Sorry to hear that. I had been chasing it as well since early February. They told me they had it sold last week as well. The buyer couldn't get financed and I was next in line. I still paid under what they were asking for it.

Signed the paperwork yesterday and flying in on Saturday to pick it up and drive it home assuming it passes mechanic inspection today.

There is a higher mileage one in North Carolina that we test drive last weekend and mechanically it is excellent, but it does have some wear and shows its age. I got them to $19k out of the door.

Lol, no I actually was paying cash. Not financing at all. Bad salesman who did a lot of lying, and changed the price OTD when I was getting ready to sign the paperwork and had no interest in working with me to explain the change. Good for you! I saw the higher mileage one, but I don’t think I could trust driving 8 hours each way for a 73k mile car that I imagine would have it’s appearance wear for the mileage. Looking for a car that’s clean and nice enough to take to car shows. Just checking every day hoping to see something under 50k miles pop up.

Wow! That really sucks. I only ever had that happen one time and I walked too when I was buying my GTO. Luckily, they came back and corrected it later.

The one in NC is definitely not show car worthy.
