Borla midpipes w/Kooks axle-back?

Just curious if anyone has tried this combo, and if so, do they work together with either little or no modifications? Specifically I'm thinking of the Borla 60607 and Kooks 22606200 since together they would make an awesome sounding true catback for about $1100 or so. Figure I'll need to drop the exhaust anyway to install my Hurst shifter so might as well kill 2 birds w/1 stone

Well, just ordered the Kooks 22606250 and Borla 60606 so we'll see how well that turns out

The new exhaust is actually louder than what the vid represents. My neighbor came out of his house when I was revving to see what was going on lol Havent driven it yet, will see if there is much or any drone later when I take her for a spin.

The drone is beautiful! lol It absolutely drones at 2k RPM, not terrible though, I like it though my wife who just rode in the car thought it was too loud. Knew she would though. If you are looking for no to low amounts of drone its probably not the exhaust for you. If you can tolerate a moderate amount and are looking for a lower, deeper toned exhaust, you'll dig the Kooks.

I have the ARH 1-3/4" Headers & no cats.
Just ordered the Borla 60607 X-Pipe with the Kooks 22602650 axle back.
This setup I bet is going to be really loud. Wanted to get rid of stock muffler that weighs about 75lbs. & go with a more free flowing lightweight axle back.
