Headliner coming apart

Just noticed today that my headliner is coming apart near the rubber window seal on the passenger side. Located nearly at the center top, about 3 inches. I will take a pic when I get a chance, but looks like it's not a tuck in issue. Anyone else has this problem? Car (1LE by the way) has been solid otherwise

I have this issue. Dealership said they had to replace the headliner.

Same story with my 1LE...
I tweaked the headliner at this point and somehow managed to tuck it in the rubber seal. I do not have an issue since. Lets hope it stays this way.
In any case, I will not take it to the dealer for 2 main reasons even if it happens again:

1.) Course of work involves dismantling the windshield - I prefer to leave it as it was installed at the factory. Windshield re-installations can leave bad traces and often go bad (I.E. dashboard damage, adhesive overflows, Etc.)
2.) It does not guarantee to solve the issue, since the problem is most likely the shape of the headliner and this is not expected to change when replacing for the exact same Part.

If headliner issues worsen over time, I prefer to take it to a professional interiors fabricator to find a fix - these guys usually have good "out of the box thinking" solutions in such cases.

Can we see some images? Can extra glue resolve this issue?

I had mine replaced at the dealership for the same issue. They replace it with a different headliner that measures out correctly. Problem is the stock headliners were made too narrow. It's not a glue issue. Replacement is the right size.
Yes, the windshield needs to come out to fix it. Nobody would be able to tell it's been replaced.

that's crap. They even have a line to correctly sized headliners or said another way, they have worked it out so they are not putting another bad liner in the car.

That means your dealership's interior & trim team know their work. Good for you.
With most dealerships you end up disappointed.

no sunroof on mine. I will try to get a pic this weekend. I am hesitant to get it replaced. I may end up waiting to see if it gets worse and get it done right before my BTB warranty expires.

I had the headliner replaced in my 16. They chipped the drivers door edge, scratched inside the passenger door jamb and the right rear rattled after. I’d really weigh my options if confronted with this on my 18.
