Just saw on TV a Georgia hospital system went thru 6 months of protective masks in 5 days...they have volunteers sewing bedsheets into masks to use to cover the disposable ones to make them last longer...because this is all "media driven hoax".

Unfortunately I have severe diabetes and respiratory trouble, the entire thing is scaring the crap out of me. I have trouble breathing just so, anything big that could come along wouldn't be good. Unfortunately I worked in the auto repair business long time ago when the dangers of asbestos was unknown. I'm normal weight and never smoked but have severe troubles. I hope everyone makes it through this mess. We all matter to someone.

So far the mortality rate in the US is less than 2%. Is it here to stay? How do you know that. If so we are in for help since apparently you cannot live a normal life with this cold floating around. It's not significant. The effect of the hysteria is greater than the virus ever will be. Theres already treatments and possible vaccines being made. There will be one day a serious illness that will take out 50% of the population, mother nature will thin the herd but this isn't it. Better chance of getting hit with lightning than catching this virus. Turn off the TV

Some of this sharp rise is because we now have a significantly larger number of available tests to test for COVID-19. With more ability to identify cases the number will go up.
