really sucks for these cars resale...you'll get on NADA and that car retail really should be about 21-23k easy but over the last couple years private sellers and dealers have been screwing up this cars resale value. I've seen 18k for a 2011 2ss with 42k mi on it here late last year. You will definitely find a better deal than that by default. Keep looking or if you really like that car, offer them 15k and see what happens. They most likely only paid 14-15k on trade for it anyway. Mileage wouldn't worry me that much on these cars if it inspects well.

I bought my 2011 SS RS convertible last October with only 3200 miles on it for $26,300. The thing looks like the day it came off the line. Was garaged the whole time. I love it. I think I got a good deal due to the fact that I was buying a Convertible in October in NY. The dealer wanted to move on it. You can't leave a convertible out in the parking lot during winter months in New York.

Not to sound condescending, but it's sounds as if you're young. Perhaps a teenager looking for a "cool car" on a limited budget? Look around and find a better deal. Don't settle on something. These aren't the only two cars in the world. Good luck!

I'm not calling BS on you but KBB says that I'd pay $39,200 NOW! AFTER the 2016's are on the street. Somebody either effed up or you got the deal of the century. Still MSRP's at $41,695.

Many members got insane deals during the 20% off GM deal. Guys were getting $70k Z/28's in the high $50k range.
