That seems pretty fair to me. Nav is not standard on the 2SS models, it's an option. RS is just an appearance package. I don't know how much better of a price you will find unless you wait for the 6th gen to arrive and they start to give away 2015's. But I don't think they will lower the prices much more, if any. The 5th was, and is, a very popular platform. I just picked up my 2015 1LE a month ago and I couldn't be happier.

39k for that isn't too bad, but what sucks is the CA sales taxes and fees etc. which is bringing the price out the door way back up.

I think I'll go for it. I got them to come down a little more and since I plan on keeping the car for a long time I'd rather pay a little more for a color that I know I'll love than buy a random color for a little less. Thanks for the great advice everyone! You have been incredibly helpful

I think the dealer will have the upper hand with any new 1LE's, especially since a 1LE wont be offered the first model year of the 16's.

Its not like you're buying the last 2015 Corolla with the 2016's comes out.

Like others have said, its not the greatest deal ever, but not bad either. See if you can get them down, but if you have your heart set on a new black 2015 1LE, walking away once may be walking away forever.

No need to jump in so fast . You could hold out and get a 2016 gen 6 SS , or hold out a little longer and get the gen 6 1LE when it comes out . Good things come to those who wait .

I just meant don't try to be a tough negotiator and walk away because of $500 or $1k...a NEW 1LE in the color you want and the options you want is going to become very hard to find very quickly.

And a new gen 6 SS will be easy to find quickly . You may just want to drive a gen 6 first to see if you like it better than a gen 5 .
