Proclip: Yes, double sided tape and a pop/snap fit also $80 bucks shipped. Snaps to the knee pad on the dash. Cant help but think it would be in the way. That is where someones knee would be right? Did I say $80 bucks?

My suggestion: No tape required. Its silicon so it stays put without the need for anything. Even under hard turns! You can throw it in any car or in the dash if you are not using it.

Yea, not the cheapest option. It doesnt get in the way though. TBH though you get what you pay for and this is one of those times. With the wires to android auto hidden nothing beats this mount.

Here are some pics. I do admit if you like to fold your feet underneath the seat your knee may rest on it. I haven't had anyone complain yet. I just dont like more crap on the dash and this creates a data station for me when I am driving. I put waze on the phone and gmaps on the screen.

I am curious, what is that contraption underneath your push start?

I just bought one of these silicon mat holders, will report back once I get it. I generally prefer a mechanical hold for phone mounts, but the long, flat dash on the camaro seems like wasted space to me, so hopefully OP's suggestion makes sense.

I have found that since I have the factory Nav, I generally prefer it over AA, and use my phone for Waze. Since I don't need a USB connection, the flat top mount should be fine for wireless-ness. Won't charge my phone, but I"m OK with that, unless on a long trip, and then I'll just run the wire up.

Thanks for posting the suggested product. . . .

It is worth the money. And hasn't been in the way. Rountinely I have a 6'5" 320+ lb ginger monster in the passenger seat. Not my wife lol

I used one of those mats for my radar detector before, but had 2 problems:
1. After a while it started to stick to my RD better than it stuck to the dash, and
2. In the summer heat it started to get a little 'gooey'.

I also use the proclipusa solution and they're great.
Worth it to me.
