Coldest temps for run flats

I have the stock run flats on my ss. They are the summer tires. How cold can it be outside before these tires get dangerous. I was hoping to get some more driving in this season but they are predicting temps in the 30s for a low next week.

I drove with the stock Goodyear runflats all year round for three years until they wore out. Lowest temp I saw on the dash was 10 degs last winter. Just dont expect as much grip at low temps and drive accordingly.

I personally avoided below freezing temps.

If you read the fine print most summer tires aren't warrantied below 40 degrees. The rubber becomes hard and the tires are more at risk for impact damage from pot holes, curbs, etc. Probably the bigger risk is that the tires are more are more likely to lose traction on cold roads with dew or light moisture.

In my experience once the temperatures dropped below 40 the tires seemed to lose grip. I switched over to the Continental DWS 06s.

Expect less traction at 40 degrees and do not use them at all at 20 degrees or below. In fact, don't even store them at 20 or below.

From the Camaro Owner's Manual:

High performance summer tires have rubber compounds that lose flexibility and may develop surface cracks in the tread area at temperatures below 20 °F. Always store high performance summer tires indoors and at temperatures above 20 °F when not in use. If the tires have been subjected to 20 °F or less, let them warm up in a heated space to at least 40 °F for 24 hours or more before being installed or driving a vehicle on which they are installed. Do not apply heat or blow heated air directly on the tires. Always inspect tires before use.

Are you guys referring specifically to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 summer-only run-flat tires that the new SS cars come with?
I'd like to know at what temperature it becomes noticeable that it's too cold for them. I'm talking just dry roads.
My brother has a '17 Corvette GS that came with Michelin SS and he said they felt unsafe even at 50 degrees.

Avoid using summer tires on temps below 40.

I did a little spirited driving this morning. It was 45 outside and I could tell that the tires were not grabbing.
