To to Summit, got it in two weeks even though they had it listed as sold out. Agree on Matthewamels points. This not ATF and I was told basically the same info.

Does anyone know if you can definitively top it off with the Tremec MTF fluid? I'm having 3rd gear issues with Redline D4 ATF at high rpms where I can't get into 3rd easily and have seen a couple mentions of this fluid fixing that but not a lot of info on the actual use of the fluid with the TR6060 online despite how many cars the trans is in.
Chevy seems pretty adamant about the 8oz take out when filling Thanks

The tremec tech told me to drain it complete. My view, they engineered this, so their fluid should be the best... Reminder this is not ATF, and assume ATF keeps cost down for the OEMs and work for 99.5 percent of their customers....
I did drive it about 100 miles on Saturday to heat cycle new tires and bed in new pads, I can tell a difference. |

I was having some issues with the 2-3 speed shift on track, no longer with the Mobil1 ATF fluid. This fluid sounds like it's even better.

but if switching to MTF from ATF should we be using the actual drain plug rather than temp sensor when changing fluid ie. a full flush?

Concur, as Matthewamel stated, it has residual in the lines. Since in was in for alignment, I just asked the dealer to let it drain a long time since the car was going to be in for two days. Did they actually do it, no idea... Again, I'm looking to see if this helps the "mushy" trying to find third gear after a few long track runs.
