This may be the week to buy a 1LE

Although there don’t seem to be as many 2019 1LEs sitting on dealer lots as there were 2018 1LEs exactly a year ago, this may be the best week of the year to buy one. Last year at this time, I bought my 1LE for much less than I’d ever imagined, with special incentives that brought the price to around $37.5K out the door - taxes and all costs included. My dealer just kept piling on “Memorial Day” discounts like supplier pricing, rebates, conquest pricing, nameplate offers, local marketing funds, factory volume incentives and probably even a brown-eyed buyer bonus. At 5 p.m. on the last day of the month, I walked out the door after rejecting his final offer. At 10:30 p.m., he called and accepted my deal. I’ve bought a lot of cars, but I’ve never seen anything like this.

I don’t know if Chevy dealers have the same menu of discounts this year, but overall new car sales are down, so it’s definitely worth checking into if you’re in the market.

Good to hear! I loved the one I drove ~2 weeks ago, but the dealer would not get as low as I wanted. To be fair, their price is one of the lowest I see on Autotrader or any other sites.

I had planned on waiting for a 0% for 72 month deal like they have done for the 18s. I'll keep an eye out for memorial day deals!

I also bought my 1LE last year but a week prior for a fantastic price.

You may have to go in person and squeeze the dealer - or there might not be any special money on ‘19 Camaros. Half the incentives I received on my ‘18 were never publicized anywhere.

What do you all consider an amazing price? The closest dealer won't budge from 44.5k, and I tried several dealers but none will even go that low.

For a 1SS 1LE anything under $40k out the door is really good.

If it's a 2SS your negotiating for $44.5k then that's pretty good if you ask me.

I'm in Ohio and all of the local dealers are openly advertising 1ss 1LE with PDR at $41k. I've seen @7 or 8 on dealer lots in the last couple of weeks.

Yeah, it's a 2ss. I thought the price was pretty solid. I still may wait for fall sales and financing incentives.

People here tend to be a little fuzzy on the term 'out the door'. Some include TTL, some don't. Some are in a state with no sales tax so they like to say they got a smokin' deal but in reality it's an average price.

1SS 1LE, no options, I paid 40.4k invoice, ended up at 44k with TTL in April last year. At that time there were no incentives and not many dealers up here willing to talk price on a 1LE.

Right? Lol out the door means everything you paid Before driving the car off the lot. I see a lot of “out the door” plus tax tag title dealer fee. That would be “before the door”

Right I know some use the term loosely, 39.5 K was my final price after all taxes and everything.
I still have the contract with me. 39.5 out the door, I put down $12,000 and financed 27.5k.
Hopefully I can find another good deal on a 2ss.
