Brake fluid reservoir with screw-on cap?

To make a long story short, I hate the three-prong reservoir cap on my 2016 Camaro SS. It's nearly impossible to get a good seal with my Motive speed bleeder, and it only gets worse at the bleeder's gasket ages. My Focus ST had a threaded reservoir cap, and it worked so much better.

So I was reading on the motive website, and I found this: "Starting with some later Chevy cars, such as the new Camaro, have started to use a female threaded cap that screws on 1.5 to 2 full turns and is 45mm (1.75") inner diameter it will use the 1100 or 1109 adapter." That sounds great! The 1100 is the adapter that I used on my old ST. But is this actually true?

Do any of you have a 6th gen Camaro with a brake fluid reservoir with a screw cap? If so, what year is your car? And if such a brake reservoir exists, does anyone know the PN? I did a quick browse on the GM parts websites, but the diagrams still look like three-prong twist caps, even on the 2018. (Though I know the diagrams on those part sites are not always the best.)

My 2017 has the 3 prong cap as well. the metal adapter, version #1118 works ok for me up to 15 psi using the thicker gasket but it is hard to get on the reservoir.

The plastic adapter leaks no matter what I do

Hmm...Not a lot of replies, so maybe to try a different way: people with 2019s, what kind of cap do you have on your reservoir?

The three prong adapter only fits leak free in 1 of the three possible positions. Once you install the motive adapter gently rock it and see if it is solidly attached. It will rock in the 2 bad positions. This is accurate for 5th & 6th gen cars. I discovered this after making a few mistakes and drowning my inner fenders with brake fluid.

This is interesting, I was going to flush my brakes, but I guess I best do a good pressure check first.
So does the plastic cap work at all?
Or is it useless?

plastic cap works fine if correctly clocked
