I'm with you. I'm just saying you already have less choices. That'll continue.

Do you define old school muscle cars as the future? Because he was talking about the future, not the past.

You told me I'm going to be miserable in the future
In the future I can still drive a 60s or 70s LS1 swapped 6spd.
I will not be miserable.

If the Corvette is only going to be sold in auto I will likely never buy a new Chevy, any model.
So you won't buy any manual trans GM model if the C8 is auto only?

I prefer to use my skills at the track shifting rather than the car's auto. It is 100% a deal killer for those of us that enjoy manual.

You are probably right that the manual will go away. But if that is the case, you are correct I'll never buy a new car.
I'll buy 2 top dog manuals right before they go out of production.
From then on I will buy sensible foriegn cars. To those of us that enjoy being attached with the car there is no difference in driving a automatic corolla and an automatic corvette. They both suck an equal amount.
I'd rather have my nuts cut off than drive a ****ing Corolla over an automatic V8 sports/muscle car. That's just crazy talk.

People are passionate about cars and in particular the way they operate them. I'm right there too.
I completely understand the logic in having the fastest shifting transmission available in your fastest cars. However those that have accepted eliminating the manual as an option have jumped on the corporate bandwagon that endorses less choice and more profitability for the company.

You better hope that Californification doesn't Tax Out Gas Powered Cars in the Future!
